Aeromexico to Operate Nearly 4,000 Domestic Flights in November, 83 Percent of 2019 Capacity

The airline will increase frequencies to seven destinations from Mexico City including Acapulco, La Paz, Los Cabos, Mexicali, Villahermosa, Zacatecas and Zihuatanejo. The carrier will also serve 28 international destinations and restart operations in Lima, Peru.

On Wednesday (October 28, 2020), Aeromexico announced that they will operate 83 percent of their domestic flights in November versus 2019, with a total of nearly 4,000 flights. The carrier is increasing frequencies between Mexico City and Acapulco, La Paz, Los Cabos, Mexicali, Villahermosa, Zacatecas and Zihuatanejo. Although international travel is recovering at a slower pace, Aeromexico will serve 28 destinations in Asia, Canada, the U.S., Europe, South America, Central America and the Caribbean in November. The airline will also restart operations in Lima, Peru with an increase in frequencies to Guatemala City, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, San Jose, Santo Domingo and Medellin.


Aeromexico will also reopen their Salones Premier Lounges and Terraza Premier in Mexico. In the coming days, the Terraza Premier in Mexico City will reopen, while the Salones Premier Lounges in Chihuahua and Torreon will reopen on November 16, 2020. Naturally, Aeromexico will continue to apply their Health and Sanitization Management System (HSMS) at these facilities for the protection of guests and team members.
