Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Launches New Service to Almaty and Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has is launching new routes between Abu Dhabi and Kazakhstan with service to Almaty and Nur-Sultan from mid-May 2021. Almaty flights will operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Fridays, while Nur-Sultan flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays.

On Sunday (March 14, 2021), Wizz Air announced that Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will launch twice-weekly service between Abu Dhabi and both Almaty and Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan from mid-May 2021. The carrier will offer flights to Almaty on Mondays and Fridays, while Nur-Sultan service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. The new routes will open low-fare travel opportunities for those wishing to visit friends and relatives, as well as business travelers. Tickets are now available for sale on the Wizz Air website, with fares starting at only AED 159*.

In Sunday’s announcement, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s Managing Director, Kees Van Schaick, said,

“The new routes from Abu Dhabi to Almaty and Nur Sultan will encourage increased travel between the UAE and Kazakhstan through ultra-low-fare travel options. We are confident that the new routes will inspire desire to travel and open the doors to new cultural experiences.”
