United Airlines Appoints Doreen Burse as Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales

Doreen Burse brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to the carrier , most recently serving as Marriott International's Vice President of Global Sales for the U.S. and Canada. She will report to United’s EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Nocella.

Today (January 19, 2021), United Airlines announced the appointment of Doreen Burse as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales starting March 1st, 2021. She will report the carrier’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Nocella, and will be responsible for United’s global sales strategy. Ms. Burse brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as Marriott International's Vice President of Global Sales for the U.S. and Canada, where she led a cross-functional global account team, serving hundreds of accounts, representing around 1,000 associations, 250 corporations and hundreds of other organizations, responsible for $16 billion in annual spending. Burse is also a member of the Global Business Travel Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the AMC Institute, and is an Editorial Board Member for Smart Meetings magazine.

In Tuesday’s announcement, United Airlines Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Nocella, said,
