Spirit Airlines Adds St. Louis to Their Route Map With Service to Five Cities

Spirit Airlines is expanding with the addition of St. Louis Lambert International Airport to their route network. Starting May 27, 2021, the carrier will offer service between St. Louis and Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Pensacola.

On Thursday (March 11, 2021), Spirit Airlines announced an expansion of their network with all new service from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and five cities. Starting May 27, 2021, the carrier will offer service between St. Louis and Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX) and Pensacola (PNS). St. Louis will be the seventh new gateway added to Spirit’s network over the past year. Since Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas and Orlando are three of the airline’s biggest cities, guests traveling from St. Louis will enjoy seamless connections to numerous onward destinations, including the Caribbean and Latin America.

In Thursday’s announcement, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning, John Kirby, said,

Also commenting on the new service, St. Louis Lambert International Airport’s Director, Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, added,
