Southwest Airlines Announces New Service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Southwest Airlines announced new service to Steamboat Springs, Colorado on Monday. The carrier will begin daily nonstop service from Denver to the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) by the end of 2020.

On Monday (February 24, 2020), Southwest airlines announced new service to steamboat Springs, Colorado. The daily nonstop service, which will initially be launched from Denver by the end of 2020, will serve Steamboat Springs through the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN). In Monday’s announcement, Southwest Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning, Adam Decaire said,

“Whether you’re a skier, snowboarder, or just enjoy a winter wonderland, Steamboat Springs has something for everyone, and now you’ll be able to reach the region on Southwest with a short, easy flight from Denver. We’re looking forward to bringing our world famous Hospitality paired with Customer-friendly policies like skis and snowboards fly free closer to the slopes of the Rocky mountains later this year.”

Also commenting on yesterday’s announcement, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Rob Perlman added,
