SAS announced on Wednesday that they will resume domestic Scandinavian and international flights in June including service to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, New York and Chicago. The carrier will double capacity in June from 15 to 30 aircraft.
As travel restrictions are eased, SAS announced today that they will reopen routes in June, primarily with domestic service between the Scandinavian countries, but also international long-haul flights to New York and Chicago. SAS is resuming service from Stockholm-Arlanda to Malmö, Ängelholm, Kalmar and Skellefteå in Sweden and Helsinki and Turku in Finland. In Norway, SAS is already serving all domestic destinations, but will resume service from Bergen and Stavanger to Copenhagen and from Stavanger to Aberdeen. As travel restrictions are lifted and demand increases, SAS will continue to add flights and frequencies to their schedule.
