On Monday (May 31, 2021), Lufthansa announced the reopening of their First Class Lounge at Frankfurt Airport starting today (June 1, 2021). The First Class lounge is in Terminal 1 and is now open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The lounge offers an exclusive and comfortable place for guests to relax prior to departure. The product range has been adjusted to meet current regulations due to the pandemic. Currently, food and beverage consumption is only permitted outside of the lounge, so a take-away menu is available with a good selection of food and beverages. The First Class lounge’s popular á-la-carte service will resume as soon as official regulations permit.

Lufthansa guests can already access some lounges in Germany as well as abroad, such as New York-JFK. As previously mentioned, additional lounges will be opening over the next few weeks and soon the First Class terminal and associated limousine service will once again be made available. The lounges have instituted several health and safety measures to keep guests and team members safe including the wearing of masks, social distancing and a modified product and service offering.
