Etihad Airways Announces the Addition of Special Passenger Repatriation and Cargo Flights

Etihad Airways announced on Sunday the addition of special passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, Dublin, London (Heathrow), Tokyo (Narita) and Zurich to allow passengers stranded in the UAE to return home.

On Sunday (April 12, 2020), Etihad Airways announced the expansion of their special passenger flight schedule to allow passengers stranded in the UAE to return home. Additionally, the return flights will repatriate UAE nationals and support the ‘UAE Food Security Program,’ by carrying fresh produce as belly-hold cargo back to the UAE. The additional special flights include service from Abu Dhabi to Brussels, Dublin, London (LHR), Tokyo (NRT) and Zurich. Etihad continues to operate previously announced special passenger flights between Abu Dhabi and Amsterdam, Jakarta, Manila, Melbourne, Seoul (ICN) and Singapore. Flights are available for booking through Etihad.com, the airline’s contact center and through local or online travel agencies.
