Embraer Delivers 80 Jets in the Fourth Quarter, 159 During 2022

Embraer delivered 80 jets during Q4 2022, including 30 commercial and 50 executive (33 light and 17 mid-size) aircraft. For the full year, the airframer delivered 159 aircraft, including 57 commercial aircraft and 102 executive jets.

On Friday (February 17, 2023), Embraer announced their fourth quarter and full year 2022 deliveries. In the fourth quarter, the company delivered a total of 80 aircraft, including 30 commercial jets and 50 executive aircraft (33 light and 17 mid-size). For the full year 2022, Embraer delivered 159 aircraft, including 57 commercial jets and 102 executive jets, an increase of 12.7 percent versus 2021. At December 31, 2022, Embraer had a firm order backlog valued at US $17.5 billion. Additionally, during the fourth quarter, Embraer confirmed a US $1.17 billion firm order for 15 new E195-E2s to an undisclosed customer, along with a firm order from Binter for five E195-E2s valued at US $389.4 million at list prices.

In 2022, Embraer also reached several other milestones, including certification of the E190-E2 in China, as well as certification of the E190-E2 and E195-E2 in Canada. Porter Airlines also took delivery of five E195-E2s during Q4 2022, out of 50 on order. During Q4, Embraer also delivered three E190s to Cairo-based lessor CIAF Leasing. In Services and Support, the company signed two contracts for heavy maintenance services with Envoy Air and JSX, totaling US $72 million. TUI also signed a contract for the Pool Program to support their E195-E2 fleet. Additionally, Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) signed a firm contract for up to 10 new E190F/E195F freighter conversions.
