Delta Flight Museum to Reopen to Visitors Starting July 1st, 2021

The Delta Flight Museum will reopen to visitors on a temporarily modified basis starting July 1st, 2021. The museum will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the Boeing 747 will be open on the same days from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
 

On Wednesday (June 23, 2021), Delta Air Lines announced that the Delta Flight Museum will reopen on a temporarily modified basis starting July 1st, 2021. The museum will be open to visitors Thursdays through Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., while the static Boeing 747 display will be open on the same days from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Face masks will be required both in the museum and on the aircraft. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Delta Flight Museum has been closed since March 14, 2020.

In Wednesday’s announcement, the Delta Flight Museum’s Director of Operations, Tiffany Meng, said,

“We’re excited to open our doors to visitors after 15 months. The museum will be open modified hours, but as we continue to monitor COVID-19’s progression, we hope to add Mondays and Tuesdays back to the schedule in August.”

Located in the heart of Delta’s Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, the Delta Flight Museum has delighted visitors from around the world since 1995. The museum exhibits propeller and jet aircraft, as well as a flight simulator. The flight simulator will offer three reservation slots per day, limited to two guests per reservation. Although guided tours and group reservations have been temporarily paused until the resumption of the regular schedule, the museum is currently booking meetings and events.
