Condor is offering guests a new onboard entertainment program which includes numerous blockbusters, classics, children’s films and documentaries, as well as an extensive music catalog. Additionally, long-haul customers can expect a James Bond special.
On Thursday (February 10, 2022), Condor announced the launch of a new streaming onboard entertainment platform with blockbuster movies, children’s films, documentaries and an extensive music offering. Long-haul guests will enjoy a new range of films, and James Bond fans can look forward to movies including No Time to Die, Casino Royale, Spectre, Skyfall and Quantum of Solace. As part of the special ‘Bond Deal’, snacks and drinks are also available at discounted prices. Premium Entertainment is complimentary for Business Class and Premium Economy guests, while Economy Class guests can book access to Premium Entertainment, including the James Bond special for ‘007 euros’, either online or while onboard.
Condor passengers on short and medium-haul flights can also expect a varied entertainment program soon. Starting in April 2022, Condor’s entire short and medium-haul fleet will bus successively equipped with the Flystream entertainment system, which makes it possible to stream content onboard with a personal mobile device. The service offers a choice of movies, series and games. Additionally, the ‘Moving Map’, which shows the current flight status, is available for access. Customers can determine if the new entertainment system is available onboard their booked flight by visiting the Condor website 24 hours prior to departure.
Founded in 1956, Condor is Germany’s favorite leisure airline, normally serving around 9.4 million guests annually to 90 destinations in Europe, Africa and America from eight German gateways. During the financial year 2018/2019, Condor Flugdienst recorded a net profit of €57 million on revenue of €1.7 billion. The German leisure carrier has a fleet of 50 aircraft which are meticulously maintained to the highest safety standards by their wholly-owned subsidiary Condor Technik with facilities in Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
