Avelo Airlines Launches New Direct Seasonal Service Between Orlando and Miami

Starting June 7, 2024, Avelo Airlines will offer new direct seasonal service between Orlando and Miami.  The route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays with introductory one-way fares from $46.

On Wednesday (April 24, 2024), Avelo Airlines announced the launch of new nonstop seasonal service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Miami International Airport (MIA), becoming the only LCC to offer service on the route.  Starting June 7, 2024, the route will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays through August 18, 2024 with a Boeing 737NG.  Celebrating the new route, Avelo is offering introductory one-way fares from $46 (T&Cs apply).

In Wednesday’s announcement, Avelo Airlines’ Chairman and CEO, Andrew Levy, said,

Launched on April 28, 2021, Avelo Airlines was founded with the simple purpose of inspiring travel with a ‘Soul of Service’ culture, while saving customers time and money with nonstop flights and everyday low fares.  Since launching, the carrier has served over 4.5 million guests on more than 35,000 flights.  Avelo operates a fleet of 16 single-class Boeing 737NGs.  The carrier currently serves 52 popular destinations across 23 U.S. states and Puerto Rico from their six bases at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) in California, Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) in Southern Connecticut, Orlando International Airport (MCO), Wilmington Philadelphia Regional Airport (ILG) in Delaware, Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina, and Las Vegas (LAS).  From May 1st, 2024, Avelo will move their LAS base to the San Francisco Bay area’s Sonoma County Airport (STS).
