Alitalia to Operate Over 1,000 Weekly Flights to 37 Destinations in July

Alitalia announced on Thursday that they will increase their schedule from June to July by 60 percent, with over 1,000 flights to 37 destinations on offer. The carrier will also resume international service from Milan.

Today, Alitalia announced that they will increase their service in July by 60 percent compared to June, with over 1,000 weekly flights to 37 destinations. In July, the Italian flag carrier will add 13 domestic and international airports to their schedule including Amsterdam, Athens, Boston, Malta, Nice, Tel Aviv, Tirana, Tunis, Brindisi, Florence, Lampedusa, Pantelleria and Reggio Calabria. During July, Alitalia will fly 52 routes to 19 domestic and 18 international airports. Additionally, the airline will resume international services from Milan, increase international flights from Rome and add services from Northern Italy to Southern Italy and the Italian islands.

In total, Alitalia will offer around 750 weekly flights from their Rome-Fiumicino hub with 36 domestic and international destinations including Alghero, Bologna, Bari, Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Lamezia Terme, Lampedusa, Milan, Naples, Olbia, Palermo, Pantelleria, Reggio Calabria, Turin, Venice and, abroad, Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Boston, Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, London, Madrid, Malta, Munich, New York, Nice, Paris, Tel Aviv, Tirana, Tunis and Zurich.

From Milan, the carrier will offer over 350 weekly flights to 17 domestic and international destinations including Alghero, Bari, Brindisi, Cagliari, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Lampedusa, Naples, Olbia, Palermo, Pantelleria, Reggio Calabria, Rome and, abroad, Amsterdam, Brussels, London and Paris.

All Alitalia aircraft are sanitized with high-powered sanitizing products daily and are operated with reduced capacity in accordance with Italian Law to facilitate social distancing onboard. Additionally, the aircraft are fitted with operating theater quality HEPA air filters that eliminate around 99.7 percent of airborne particulates.
