Air Serbia to Increase Frequencies to Zagreb and Ljubljana for Winter 2021/22 Season

With growing demand, Air Serbia is increasing regional air traffic frequencies to Zagreb and Ljubljana for the winter 2021/22 season. This winter, Air Serbia will remain the only airline connecting Belgrade with the capitals of Croatia and Slovenia.

On Tuesday (November 9, 2021), Air Serbia, the Serbian national airline, announced an increase in regional frequencies for the winter 2021/22 season due to growing demand. The airline will add flights from Belgrade to Zagreb and Ljubljana, remaining the only airline offering service to the capitals of Croatia and Slovenia from Belgrade. Belgrade-Zagreb flights will be increased from December 10, 2021 through January 14, 2022 with up to 10 weekly flights. The carrier will also add two weekly flights between Belgrade and Ljubljana on Fridays and Sundays, increasing the route frequency to nine weekly flights from November 14, 2021 through March 25, 2022.

In Tuesday’s announcement, Air Serbia’s General Manager – Commercial and Strategy, Jiri Marek, said,

“Due to increased demand for flights to destinations in the region, whose popularity traditionally increases during New Year holidays, we have decided to introduce additional flights and offer our passengers more choices when planning trips. We are proud of the fact that we have long stood as the only airline connecting Belgrade with Zagreb and Ljubljana. In addition to the strong connectivity between cities in the region, we are also providing passengers with easier access to destinations within our network across Europe and the world.”

Air Serbia’s guests will also enjoy seamless connectivity via Zagreb to numerous cities in the airlines’ network including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Moscow, New York, Oslo, Paris, Podgorica, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna, Tivat and Zurich.
